Estimates are ballpark only. Real pricing depends on site conditions, base prep, access, permits, and material choices — final quotes commonly land above this range. We give you a written, itemized quote after a free on-site visit.

    How It Works

    How the estimate is built.

The calculator uses the same pricing structure we use for real bids, simplified to a few choices you can make without a site visit.

    1

    Base price by court

Each project type and sport starts from the low end of recent Northwest Washington bids on an easy, level site.

    2

    Surface and site

Asphalt runs about 20% below post-tensioned concrete. Moderate site prep adds about 15%, and difficult sites about 35%.

    3

    Courts and add-ons

Extra courts run about 85% of the first. Fencing and lighting scale with court count; other add-ons are flat. The high end is 35% above the low.

    Calculator questions

How accurate is the sport court cost calculator?

It gives a realistic ballpark, not a quote. The ranges come from recent bids on real projects in Northwest Washington, but drainage, access, soil, and permit requirements can only be judged on site. We confirm the real number with a free site visit.

Why is the high end 35% above the low end?

Two courts that look identical on paper can differ a lot once you account for subgrade, slope, and access. The spread reflects that real variation rather than a padded number.

Does the estimate include fencing, lighting, and permits?

Fencing, lighting, windscreens, cushioned surfacing, and hoops are included only if you select them as add-ons. Permit fees and engineering, where required, are separate.

Why does a second court cost less than the first?

Mobilization, site work, and fencing are shared, so each additional court on the same slab runs about 85 percent of the first.
